Get Your Jicama On! What’s That? A Terrific Salsa, That’s What!
This is a delicious salsa recipe. Jicama is a legume and is grown for its large tuberous roots, which can be eaten raw or cooked. Jicama Salsa
Ingredients:
1 JICAMA, diced
3 TOMATOES, chopped
1 RED ONION, chopped
3 GREEN ONIONS, chopped
CILANTRO (to taste)
1/2 JALAPENO PEPPER, seeded and minced
1 LIME, juiced
1 tsp SALT
1/2 tsp CUMIN
TORTILLA CHIPS
Instructions:
MIX JICAMA, TOMATOES, RED ONION, GREEN ONIONS, CILANTRO, JALAPENO PEPPER LIME, SALT AND CUMIN in a large bowl. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve with TORTILLA CHIPS.
