Anti-Inflammatory Watermelon Smoothie

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Yields: 2-3 cups

All the ingredients in this smoothie are anti-inflammatory and loaded with nutrients so cool down with something healthy! This link shows you how to pick a good watermelon every time.

I used my Vitamix blender to make this, but watermelon blends easily so any blender should work. If you decide you want smoothies to be a part of your daily diet, I would highly recommend investing in a Vitamix or a more powerful blender. Less expensive blender options to consider are a Bullet or Ninja.

  • 3 cups seedless cubed watermelon (I used organic)
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
  • 2 tsp. chopped fresh basil
  1. Put cubed watermelon in blender and blend well
  2. Add frozen pineapple, raspberries, and basil and blend until smooth
  3. Pour into glasses and enjoy!
